Meet the Cottage Hill Dental Team
Mohammad Al-Asadi, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Asadi received his dental degree from Northwestern University in 1999. He also completed a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of California San Francisco in 2000. Dr. Asadiโs commitment to continuing dental education earned him the distinction of a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious designation earned by 6% of all dentists in the US and Canada. His advanced education includes the areas of laser dentistry, orthodontic treatment, cosmetic dentistry, temporomandibular dysfunction and sleep disordered breathing treatment.
Dr. Asadi enjoys traveling, swimming, running and biking. He completed the Chicago Triathlon in 2009. He resides in Oak Brook with his wife, Dr. Amiran, and two children Amin and Ava.

Sanaz Amiran, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Amiran completed her undergraduate education at Loyola University Chicago in Biochemistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Following graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Florida. She is skilled at placing and restoring dental implants, periodontal surgeries, full mouth rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Amiranโs commitment to continuing education earned her the distinction of a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious designation earned by 6% of all dentists in the US and Canada. Dr. Amiran believes that caring for her patients is the most important and rewarding part of her job. She approaches patient care from the perspective of the patient, emphasizing the need to make patients part of the process and making them completely comfortable. She believes that close doctor-patient communication is the benchmark for superior, high-quality care. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, volunteering, cooking, and playing the piano. Most importantly, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Asadi, and their children, Amin and Ava.

Angela Suh, DMD
Dr. Suh was born in South Korea and grew up in Chicago ever since she was young. She completed her DMD at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and upon graduation, she received the Lina Tharp Award for exemplary leadership, and the BISCO award for excellence in pediatric care. Dr. Suh is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society. She has great interest in dental materials, and always keeps up with modern technology, especially in implants and esthetic dentistry to provide the best for her patients. Dr. Suh will do her best to deliver confidence through a healthy and beautiful smile. Outside the office, she enjoys time with her husband and daughter, and traveling is one of her main hobbies.
Koula, BS, RDH
Hygienist
Koula has been a practicing dental hygienist at Cottage Hill Dental Care since 2000. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Koula grew up in Burbank, IL with two terrific brothers. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Mike, and they live in Oak Lawn with their 2 children Mikey and Nia.
Koula is proud of her Greek heritage and her “big, fat, Greek family”- they really are like the movie! She enjoys spending time and having fun with her family, reading, and volunteering at school and church. She is proud to be the sole Chicago White Sox fan in the office but still supports her friends that are die-hard Cubs fans (i.e. AMANDA)!!

Amanda, EdM, RDH
Hygienist
Amanda has been a Dental Hygienist at Cottage Hill Dental Care since 2003. She is also an Adjunct Clinical and Classroom Instructor in the dental hygiene program at Harper College. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association.
Amanda graduated with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Parkland College and Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis. She earned a Master of Education in Community College Teaching and Learning from the University of Illinois.
Amanda married her high school sweetheart, Eric, and has two children. She spends her free time watching her children’s indoor and outdoor activities, cherishing time with family and friends, traveling anywhere warm and cheering on her family’s favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.

Haley, RDH
Hygienist
Haley grew up in Burbank and graduated from Prairie State College Dental Hygiene Program. Her passion for dental hygiene started in college. You will find that she is compassionate and able to put her patients at ease. Haley is dedicated to the dental health care profession and making sure all her patients feel comfortable and leave her chair loving their smile!
Haley enjoys spending time with her two dogs and watching movies.
Nicole, RDH
Hygienist
Nicole has been a practicing dental hygienist since 2010. She graduated from Prairie State College with a degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She continues her education by taking as many continuing education classes as she can, and holds numerous certifications in different areas of dental hygiene. Nicole enjoys interacting and educating her patients everyday and takes pride in her gentle and thorough approach.
Nicole lives in Schaumburg with her boyfriend, James, his son Jared and their two dogs, Blaze and Chief. Nicole and her family enjoy staying active outdoors and camping. In her free time, she enjoys reading & traveling.

Joy, RDH
Hygienist
Joy has been a Dental Hygienist with Cottage Hill Dental Care since 2021. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and enjoys expanding her knowledge base through continuing education on various dental topics. Joy graduated with honors from William Rainey Harper College with an Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009.
Joy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, learning Spanish, reading and exploring nature areas in the Chicago suburbs.

Marixa
Chairside Assistant
Marixa is a highly trained Dental assistant. She has been with Dr. Asadi and Dr. Amiran since 2018, offering over 16 years of experience in the dental field. Her calming personality helps comfort patients before, during and after dental procedures.
Marixa enjoys listening to live music or spending some quiet time at the spa.

Martha
Chairside Assistant
Martha has been a member of Cottage Hill Dental Care since 2005. She is a Certified Dental assistant who approaches her job with enthusiasm and a sense of humor that makes everyone laugh. Martha is fluent in Spanish and is proud of her Mexican Heritage.
Martha lives in Carol Stream with her three children, Isabel, Eliza and Issac. She grew up in Chicago with her ten brothers and sisters. She enjoys spending time with her family, particularly their yearly trip to Wisconsin Dells. Martha loves camping, riding the Wisconsin Dells Ducks and shopping.

Linda
Chairside Assistant
Linda has been a member of Cottage Hill Dental Care since 2017. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. She worked as a dental hygienist in a pediatric/orthodontic office for 20 years before taking time off to raise her three great kids, Jack, Rory and Eleanor.
Linda has been married to her high school sweetheart for 32 years. They live in LaGrange and have downsized, but still manage to find room when the kids are all home. Linda loves baking,reading and going for long walks. She especially loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys cheering on her favorite team, the Chicago Blackhawks.

Jewel
Hygiene Coordinator
Jewel joined Cottage Hill Dental Care in 2023. Her goal is for every patient to feel welcomed and valued.
Jewel is always up for a challenge, whether renovating her home or attempting to teach herself how to play the violin. She will always look for new solutions to old problems. She enjoys reading, writing and traveling alone and with her family.

Carol
Insurance Coordinator
Carol has been a member of Cottage Hill Dental Care since 1986. She started as a dental assistant and returned after 17 years working the front desk. She has been married since 1991 and has three children.
Carol enjoys exercising, cooking and hoping to travel more. She loves chocolate!

Kimberly
Office Manager
Kim has been a member of Cottage Hill Dental Care since 1993. She started as a chairside assistant and is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of dentistry. She looks forward to each day helping all of our amazing patients, many of them she has known for numerous years and enjoys hearing about their lives.
Kim and her husband Ron live in Plainfield and have two daughters, Payton and Sidney. Kim enjoys all outdoor activities, including riding her bike and long walks with her dog, Mikita. She loves the summer months and gets outside as much as possible. Kim grew up in Minnesota and travels there often to visit with family. GO VIKINGS! She also enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her daughters.
Chelsea
Treatment Coordinator
Chelsea started her career in dentistry in 2014. She has been a part of Dr. Al-Asadi and Dr. Amiran’s team at all of their previous locations, but is so pleased that they have permanently settled in our beautiful Elmhurst office. Her favorite part about dentistry is helping people find their path to health and happiness.
Chelsea grew up in Chicago’s western suburbs, which is where she currently lives with her husband Geno and their two children, Nora and Max. Chelsea enjoys raising their two little ones, running and playing golf.
